Dr. Julie Samu has been with Alpine Eye Care since May 2000. Her clinical experience at Alpine Eye Care includes pre and post management of surgical patients including cataract, glaucoma, CK and LASIK. Emphasizing on comprehensive optometric care, Dr. Samu diagnosis and treats ocular disease in addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses.

Dr. Julie Samu received her doctorate of optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in May 2000.

Dr. Samu participates in ice hockey lessons in Gaylord and is a member of Cheboygan women's hockey, N.I.C.E. She also enjoys time in her flower and vegetable gardens.
